ARTICLES INCLUDE LEGAL INFORMATION REGARDNG FIREARMS CARE AND USE OF FIREARMS; PENDING LEGISLATION AT THE STATE AND LOCAL LEVEL RELATED TO FIREARMS; PERSONAL ANECDOTES ABOUT FIREARM CARE, USE AND TRAINING; COMPETITIVE SHOOTING RESULTS; INFORMATION ON SHOOTING RANGES IN CALIFORNIA;GENERAL MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION; AND STORIES RELATED TO HUNTING AND WILDLIFE.
MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM INCLUDES REMINDERS FOR RENEWING MEMBERSHIP DUES; INFORMATION ON MEMBER BENEFITS SUCH AS BEING ABLE TO COMPETE IN STATEWIDE FIREARMS COMPETITION; MEMBERSHIP DRIVES; HOSTING A FAMILY SHOOTING EVENT; AND HAVING A MEMBERSHIP COORDINATOR TO ANSWER QUESTIONS THAT MEMBERS MAY HAVE. MEMBERS ENJOY THE RIGHTS PROSCRIBED TO THEM IN THE BYLAWS OF THE ASSOCIATION.
THE ASSOCIATION EMPLOYS A GOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS LIASON WHO COMMUNICATES WITH STATEWIDE LEGISLATORS ON MATTERS RELATED TO FIREARMS LEGISLATION. THE ASSOCIATION ALSO COORDINATES EFFORTS WITH LOCAL GOVERNMENTS TO EDUCATE THE LOCAL GOVERNMENTS ON MATTERS RELATED TO PREEMPTION OF STATE LAWS REGARDING FIREARMS.
