FOSTERALL recruits families for abused and neglected children in foster care, provides critically needed support for these heroic families, and administers volunteer Foster Care Programs in faith-based communities.
FOSTERALLS FOSTER CARE PROGRAM ENGAGES COMMUNITIES OF ALL FAITHS IN THE SERVICE OFFOSTER CARE. OPERATING OVER 250 PROGRAMS IN FAITH COMMUNITIES, FOSTERALL PROVIDESAWARENESS AND EDUCATION OF FOSTER CARE, RECRUITS PROSPECTIVE RESOURCE (FOSTER)PARENTS AND INVOLVES ITS FAITH PARTNER COMMUNITIES IN A PLETHORA OF SUPPORT ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS FOR YOUTH AND FAMILIES IN FOSTER CARE. DURING THE LATTER HALF OF THE FISCAL YEAR, FOSTERALLS EFFORTS WERE CONCENTRATED ON SUPPORTING FOSTERING FAMILIES DURING THE PANDEMIC AND VIRTUALLY ASSISTING PROSPECTIVE PARENTS THROUGH THE FOSTER CARE APPROVAL PROCESS.
The Family Support Program provides supportive services to prospective resource (foster) families and to currently fostering families. The program consists of individual consultation, in home assessments and guidance in the selection of foster family agencies or county that is best suited for the recruited family. Monthly support groups are conducted throughout the region to offer ongoing education, emotional support and relevant resources. FosterAlls professional team of therapists, social workers and behavioral specialists facilitate these groups.
