TO FOSTER LOCAL, STATE, NATIONAL OR INTERNATIONAL SPORTS COMPETITION WITH A PARTICULAR EMPHASIS ON YOUTH SOCCER.
Marin FC fielded 54 youth teams and one adult team in the fiscal year, serving some 950 players. We administered spring training clinics, including those for specialized skill building. Teams and players competed in local leagues and soccer events nationwide sponsored by the Elite Clubs National League, NorCal Premier Soccer, and US Club Soccer. The start of the Covid-19 pandemic curtail the last couple of months of training and competition. Greater administrative effort has gone towards providing optimal program support for field scheduling, equipment, and referee training and assignment.
