The mission of FGMM is to provide Christian counseling, education, training, and rehabilitation to victims of substance abuse and to victims of addictive behavior problems. The gospel of Jesus Christ is the foundation of this organization. We will present the gift of rehabilitation to victims of substance abuse and to victims of addictive behavior problems. The gospel of Jesus Christ is the foundation of this organization. We will present the gift of salvation to the lost, and feed and clothe the needy. We consider the following of Biblical Principles as essential to our success.
The mission of FGMM is to provide Christian counseling, education, training, and rehabilitation to victims of substance abuse and to victims of addictive behavior problems.
Through our residential recovery program we housed, clothed, fed, counseled and provided vocational training to 8 men and women in 2016. The medical and any court related needs of the residents were satisfied by Mission Ministries in that we provided transportation to and from all appointments. All required court related classes and or programs were attended by the appointed residents and transportation was provided by Full Gospel Mission Ministries. Through a voucher program, clothing and furniture is given freely to individuals and families in need. Graduates from our residential program, freely received all the furniture they needed to furnish their new independent residence. More than 50 individuals received free Xlike new" clothing from our Thrift Store. More than 40 families received free furniture for their homes.A local hospital (St. Rose) was a recipient of free wheel chairs, walker, etc for needy patients who could not afford to purchase those items upon leaving the hospital. Other non-profit agencies (Victory Outreach, Teen Challenge, Seven Step and local churches) used our Thrift Store to receive free merchandise for many of their clients.For our Hands That Care ministry we provided (through food supplied by the Alameda County Food Bank) more than 50 needy families per month with groceries. A soup kitchen was provided for the needy of our communities five days each week, and more than 225 people per week received a free hot lunch. In our annual Thanksgiving dinner more than 150 people received food baskets and a hot meal on Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Over 400 children received new toys for Christmas at our annual Christmas toy giveaway.
