Build Futures' purpose is to help youth ages 18 to 24 move from surviving on the streets to self-sufficiency by providing a step-by-step program of intervention called Steps to Success
2020 has been a challenge for all of us with the Covid-19 Pandemic. Through it all we were able to continue our mission of housing homeless young adults and helping them to self sufficiency. 54 young adults were helped to stay off the streets. All of our work with clients has been conducted masked, socially distanced and outside the office. We worked with our clients over the phone, at their houses or in parks. We also began working with Orange County Social Services. They sent us their clients but the county paid for their rent. We had 3 of their clients in 2020.
