WEBINARS AND TRADE SHOW SEMINARS - WE HOST AND PRODUCE BETWEEN 4 AND 6 WEBINARS FOR BICYCLE RETAILERS IN KEY MARKETS EACH YEAR, IN ADDITION TO NUMEROUS SEMINARS AT INDUSTRY TRADE SHOWS. THESE EVENTS FEATURE PRESENTERS ON BUSINESS EXCELLENCE. THEY ARE OFFERED FREE TO MEMBERS. TOPICS HAVE INCLUDED EMPLOYEE HIRING AND MANAGEMENT, STORE MANAGER TRAINING, SERVICE DEPARTMENT MANAGEMENT, BICYCLE PROMOTION, ADVOCACY AND INDUSTRY STATISTICS. THEY ATTRACT BETWEEN 20 AND 120 RETAILERS, DEPENDING ON THE TOPIC. ALL SESSIONS ARE AIMED TO BRINGING SOUND INFORMATION AND INSPIRATION TO BICYCLE RETAILERS TO HELP THEM IMPROVE THEIR BUSINESSES.

THE PURPOSE IS TO SUPPORT EACH OTHER IN SEEKING EXCELLENCE IN BUSINESS PRACTICES TO SERVE THEIR CUSTOMERS BETTER, AND THIS RELATES DIRECTLY TO OUR MISSION STATEMENT. THE GROUP GENERATES AVERAGES FOR KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS IN BUSINESS OPERATIONS THAT ARE THE BASIS FOR MEASUREMENT THAT DRIVE BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT IN EACH AREA. EXAMPLES WOULD BE PAYROLL AS A PERCENTAGE OF SALES, AND PRODUCTIVITY PER SQUARE FOOT OF SPACE.
TRAINING - THIS IS A TRAINING INSTITUTE WITH FINEST TECHNOLOGY, EQUIPMENT AND EXPERIENCED INSTRUCTORS. IT OFFERS THE MEMBERS CLASSES IN BICYCLE MECHANICS AND MATERIALS FOR BICYCLE REPAIR SHOPS. EACH CLASS IS HELD ABOUT 9 TIMES A YEAR.
