ALL 18 WORKGROUPS MEET VIRTUALLY THROUGHOUT THE YEAR TO UPDATE AND REVISE OF ALL 39 SOLUTIONS. THESE MULTI-DISCIPLINARY WORKGROUPS ARE MADE UP OF VOLUNTEER SUBJECT MATTER EXPERTS AND KEY OPINION LEADERS AS WELL AS INDUSTRY LEADERS AND PATIENT/FAMILY ADVOCATES. THE WORKGROUPS CONVENE VIRTUALLY TO ENSURE THAT THE PSMF APSS REMAIN CLINICALLY VALID AND THE WORKGROUPS WILL FUNCTION IN PERPETUITY. THE PSMF ALSO WAS PROUD TO IDENTIFY A PATIENT OR FAMILY MEMBER TO CO-CHAIR EACH OF THE 18 WORKGROUPS. THIS PATIENT/FAMILY MEMBER WORKED ALONGSIDE THE CLINICAL WORKGROUP CHAIR TO ENSURE THE PATIENT AND FAMILY PERSPECTIVE WAS INTEGRAL IN THE ANNUAL REVISIONS OF THE APSS.PSMF CONTINUED ITS THOUGHT LEADERSHIP ACTIVITIES THROUGH EARNED MEDIA PLACEMENT IN KEY MARKETS, SOCIAL MEDIA ACTIVITY, AN ONLINE STORE WITH PRODUCTS TO SUPPORT OUR MESSAGE OF PATIENT SAFETY, AND SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS BEFORE LEADING HOSPITALS AND ORGANIZATIONS THROUGHOUT THE WORLD, WITH THE GOAL OF SOLICITING MORE COMMITMENTS TO ACTION AND TO RAISE AWARENESS ABOUT PATIENT SAFETY WHICH IS MOSTLY STILL AN INVISIBLE ISSUE TO THE PUBLIC.
