Anthem Backup Generator Project Grant - The 2019 PGE PSPS public safety power shutoff events have recently negatively affected the Food Bank, as well as our community. In order to prevent any future loss of goods and/or prevent a disruption in services to our clients that are already in need, Anthem has granted funds for an Emergency Backup Generator. The project is estimated to be around 51,000. The ATCAA Food Bank served almost 15,000 unduplicated individuals in 2019, distributing over 1 million pounds of food in 2019, much of which is perishable. As well as having multiple direct distributions on a monthly basis, the ATCAA Food Bank provides access to these foods to 15 partner agencies within Tuolumne County, that help redistribute food to clients in need.

PGE Backup Generator Project Grant - Due to the 2019 PGE PSPS public safety power shutoff events, PGE has provided granted funds for the Emergency Backup Generator project described above. The Backup Generator will help prevent a disruption in services, allowing us to continue to serve our mission.
