Organizations Filed Purposes:
To organize and promote youth soccer in the coastal areas of City of San Diego; primarily Pacific Beach, La Jolla, Mission Beach and University area
Very successful soccer league year. Parent involvement and community political support continues high. A set of new U10 fields were jointly funded with LJ Youth Inc. and Muirlands Jr.High where the league purchased field usage rights in return for $250,000. This will greatly alleviate the field shortages discussed each year previously. Previously portable bathrooms were installed at Allen Field clearing up a big parent complaint issue.LJ Impact competitive teams: 28; Fall Recreational teams 67; spring rec teams 30.Rec programs continue to thrive and Impact competitive grew 4% by teams.
Successfully migrated the program up to a higher level of soccer for all area children not just LJ/Pac Beach. Beach Area Impact program is AA and AAA level soccer with county wide traveling team participation. 28 teams.
