Organizations Filed Purposes:
The Foundations purpose is to engage in the solicitation, receipt and administration of contributions and their disbursements to and for the benefit of the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul, Province of the West. The activities listed below delineate the major functions.
Daughters of Charity Foundation the Foundation funds various health, welfare, educational and religious activities of the ministries of the Daughters of Charity, Province of the West and internationally.
The Pozzo Tuition Program provides full tuition and incidental expenses for selected students from the 8 Daughters of Charity grammar schools. Starting 2014, the Foundation did not provide for new commitments. There were 8 students previously enrolled who dropped from the program, hence the negative expense amount of 434,565. A total of 184 and 214 students for the fiscal years ended June 30, 2019 and 2018 respectively were supported by this program.
Educational Enrichment and High School Tuition Assistance Program HSTAP provide schools in the western province with funds that enhance libraries, arts and sports programs, annual field trips as well as high school tuition for graduates of Daughters of Charity schools.
