Lakewood Project Shepherd is a non-profit community based organization with the mission to provide assistance to Lakewood families in need. Working with a combination of community volunteers, the Rotary Club of Lakewood and the City of Lakewood provides the leadership for carrying out the mission.

EXTENSION PROGRAMFamilies needing assistance can register for emergency food and utility bill (up to $100) payment one time per family. Depending on the size of the family, they receive a box of non-perishable food, a grocery store gift card, and other household items, such as toiletries. This program served 2,003 individuals in 356 families.
