The Foundation's mission is to increase resources, raise funds and create friends and partnerships in support of education at AVC.
During the year ended June 30, 2020 the Foundation engaged in the following program service activities:- Awarded 257 scholarships totaling $165,075.- Provided $399,809 to support activities at the College and related programs.- Achieved a 6% year over year return on invested endowment monies.- Increased the number of donors from 4,500 to 5,809 and increased the average donor annual contribution to $2,244 from $1,058.- Engaged the community during COVID-19 using student-made videos to their scholarship donors in lieu of the annual Meet and Greet, in person, Breakfast.- Obtained $75,000 COVID-19 related contributions from Lockheed Martin to support materials for students.
