Organizations Filed Purposes:
To provide a continuum of services to child victims of abuse, children at risk of abouse, and their families who are located in northern Los Angeles County.
During FYE 2019-2020, the Children's Center of the Antelope Valley actively pursued its mission, "To promote healing and provide protection from abuse through education and expert care for children and families in the Antelope Valley" A few of the highlights of the year included the following:- Served 730 Unduplicated Clients in the Clinical Treatment program using LA County approved EBPS and therapy techniques. - Served over 500 families in the DCFS RSS Kinship Program. CCAV hosted a Movie Night in October of 2019 to thank and to recognize Caregivers' efforts in supporting and maintaining placement. As well as our annual Frosty Fest event which hosted over 1,000 families. - Served over 350 participants in the INN2 program while building a trauma resilient community and partnerships.- Hosted over 70 Community Service Partners that focused on behavioral health, resources, anger management, parenting, legal aid and domestic violence.- Hosted over 50 in-house group tours highlighting program goals and achievements, educational opportunities and brand ambassador options.
