Goodwill SOLAC was established 89 years ago and provides services to 26 cities and communities located in southern California. The organization's main facility is located in Long Beach California where it houses administrative offices and several training programs, processing operations and a transportation fleet. Goodwill SOLAC's Workforce Development programs consider the quality of life factors for each person served, backed by the belief that all individuals should be empowered to find and keep meaningful employment and inclusion into their community. Our programs are intended to assist individuals with vocational disadvantages such as: minimum work history, low income,homelessness, at-risk youth, parolees, individuals with disabilities or other barriers to employment.

Commercial Operations consists of 17 stores, 1 outlet, 1 e-commerce sales outlet, and 1 aftermarket sales operations. It provided employment to nearly 606 individuals in 2019 and generates income that supports Work Force Development.
LiNKS Sign Language and Interpreting Services provides interpreters to assist the hearing impaired in communications, as well as translation services in over thirty languages including Arabic, Mandarin, Vietnamese, and Korean. In 2019 LiNKS processed over 8,679 requests for interpreting and translation services, serving over 3,690 individuals. Revenues generated from LiNKS supports our Work Force Development programs.
In 2019, a total of 5,370 individuals accessed Goodwill SOLAC's Work Force Development. Of those participants who accessed those services, 840 entered training programs, 634 completed training programs, and 346 individuals were placed into employment.
