The purpose of the organization is to empower and educate catalytic faith-based and community leaders for city and neighborhood level transformation. Our driving mission is to help people work together for social good so that significantly better results are achieved and resources are well spent.
2019 was another impactful year of collaborative leadership and programming around two primary causes - Homelessness and Anti Human Trafficking. We wrapped up our second round of collaborative projects around our C.A.R.E.18 effort and celebrated successes that touched over 1,500 lives, involved hundreds of organizations and faith communities, and leveraged thousands of community volunteer hours. On the homeless front with the City Net efforts, our collaborative efforts expanded significantly this year as we were able to see 11,114 direct street outreach interactions with homeless neighbors, fielding of 14,675 interactions with homeless neighbors who called our Outreach Line, engagement with 947 clients in case management services and facilitation of 1,864 exits from the streets and into shelter or housing.
