Provided professional kitchen services and training
KFV surpassed its envisioned goals of 100 and provided technical assistance and training to 121 low income entrepreneurs through webinars, workshops and training seminars. More than 87 business plans were created, and 54 businesses launched. KFV provided computer training to 111 farmers in the Inland Empire who now have a working knowledge of how to operate a laptop computer. Additionally, 80 laptops were given away to farmers that completed all 10 classes. KFV provided Culinary 101 Basics to 69 at risk youth in the inner city of Los Angeles. As a direct result of this training, 31 students are now pursuing Culinary Arts as their college profession, and have enrolled in culinary curriculums across the US.
