1) The purpose of Heartstrings Counseling is to provide high quality, affordable counseling and educational services to all members of the community. We strive to encourage positive change and personal growth that will brace and sustain the hearts and lives of individuals, couples, families, teens and children.2) Heartstrings Counseling provides disaster/crisis counseling services to first responders and survivors of fires and mass shootings as well as other disasters.3) In order to become a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California, therapists are required to gain 3,000 hours of training and experience. Here at Heartstrings Counseling, we value their education and support their journey to licensure. Heartstrings Counseling is a training facility that provides our counselors with a wonderful atmosphere to gain the experience needed to become licensed. Each therapist is under the direct supervision of a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist and they meet weekly for group and individual supervision.
