Organizations Filed Purposes: Our mission is to deliver compassionate innovative mental health services that empower individuals and families to overcome barriers and significant life challenges to achieve more fulfilling, resilient and self-sufficient lives.

To provide mental health care to low income individuals.

CHILDREN: Outpatient Treatment, intensive field-based and 24/7 crisis intervention for children 0-18 who have experienced trauma and are at risk for removal from home, school failure, and/or psychiatric hospitalization.

ADULT: Field-based and out-patient treatment of adults 18-60+ with post-traumatic stress disorder, depression and anxiety, and survivors of domestic violence.

Domestic Violence CalWorks:The County of Los Angeles (County) Department of Public Health (DPH) funding to provide case management services to survivors of domestic violence (DV) who are eligible participants in the California Work Opportunity and Responsibility to Kids (CalWORKs), General Relief (GR), and General Relief Opportunities for Work (GROW) programs in Los Angeles County (LAC). Collectively these services are known as Domestic Violence Supportive Services (DVSS). Case Management services are provided to domestic violence (DV) survivors (also known as participants). Case Management services include confidential support services, safety planning, and advocacy. DV survivors are provided with advocacy/referral services to help with obtaining the appropriate community resources (financial assistance, emotional stability, and educational benefits). The goal of case management services is to empower survivors to make decisions that are the safest for them and their children and help the survivors overcome barriers related to domestic violence and become self-sufficient. Case management also includes an assessment to determine if domestic violence prevents the recipient from complying with any of the CalWORKs Welfare to Work (WtW) requirements.
