To empower and educate youth and veterans to fill the shortage of NDT professionals in many of Californias booming industries
In 2019, AATA held multiple cohorts in 3 different locations. These cohorts were a mixture of men and women, with the percentage of women increased over the previous years. The graduation rate was 99.5%. The very small percentage of students that did not graduate were either self withdrawals or found work during the course and were able to accept positions prior to graduating. The job placement rate of graduates is 85%. We saw an increase in interest for more locations and are working toward 2 new location partners as well as an online platform. In 2019 AATA began outreach to military members who are transitioning to civilian life and began the approval process for classes on military bases.
