IRONICALLY, THE RISK OF RELAPSE FOR THE ADDICT IS GREATEST WHEN HE ACHIEVES HIS GOALS AND APPEARS TO BE THRIVING. THE EXTERNAL TRAPPINGS OF SUCCESS FEED INTO THE ADDICTS' DENIAL SYSTEM, ALLOWING HIM TO BELIEVE THAT HE IS "NORMAL AND THEREFORE EXEMPT FROM THE REQUIRED DAILY ACTIONS TO MAINTAIN SOBRIETY. IT IS NECESSARY TO KEEP ALUMNI CONNECTED WITH ONE ANOTHER AND BEIT T'SHUVAH TO REMIND THEM OF THE DANGERS OF RELAPSE. THEREFORE, BEIT T'SHUVAH PROVIDES: ONE WEEKLY ALUMNI GROUPALUMNI TORAH STUDY FOR MEN AND WOMENTRAINING PROGRAM FOR ALUMNI TO VOLUNTEER AS PARAPROFESSIONAL COUNSELORSINDIVIDUAL AND SPIRITUAL COUNSELING AS NEEDEDSOCIAL, RECREATIONAL, AND SPIRITUAL EVENTS THAT KEEP ALUMNI CONNECTED TO THE BEIT T'SHUVAH COMMUNITY.
