Organizations Filed Purposes:
Our mission is to provide opportunities for African American women to network. Through conferences, seminars held on-line and in states across the country, spa retreats and in partnership with other organizations, Sisters at the Well provides the forum for women to link arms and aims to ensure our collective success.
Sisters Speak Series is a quarterly gathering of women designed to discuss a variety of topics of interest to the community. Topics such as Finding the Love You Deserve, Sisters Living a Spiritual Life, Women Speak on the Issue of Sexuality, Reclaiming Our Rituals, Awakening Eve, Sister Get Your Money Straight and many others have been discussed in our circle with expert facilitators and notable speakers.
The Annual We See You Awards recognizes and celebrates the work of six outstanding women, whose collective work spans over 100 years of service to women and families across the country and abroad. Their work and efforts have helped to shape the world's view of women of color. This award is our way of saying, thank you for all that go unnoticed or untelevised. We simply want to say that We See You.
The Adopt A School Project is a one year commitment to a selected school to provide books, supplies and equipment that would assist the school in meeting its goals of educating the students enrolled. Through direct financial support, in-kind services and raising awareness about the school, we will ensure resources for the school that will otherwise be neglected.
