Green Dot's mission is to help transform public education so that every child can be successful in college, leadership and life. Green Dot Public Schools National manages the development of and supports the operation of public charter schools.
To run high quality public charter schools and to support related entities.
Green Dot National was created to provide services to Green Dot Public Schools California (GDPS CA), Green Dot Public Schools Tennessee (GDPS TN), collectively referred to as Green Dot Regions, and United Parents and Students (UPAS). Specifically, by obtaining and distributing philanthropic support, providing school facilities, providing capital financing, providing operational or other support, designing curriculum, training and developing charter school staff, and assisting the related organizations to obtain philanthropic support, charter school facilities and charter school financing. By leveraging high quality and efficient services in these and other areas, Green Dot helps eliminate barriers to success at the schools in our network and to empower educators to focus on their students.
