UNTIL JUNE 2014, THE HINKLE FOUNDATION (FORMERLY "CHRIST UNITY MANOR") PROVIDED LOW INCOME ELDERLY HOUSINGIN A 156 UNIT HUD APARTMENT COMPLEX, WHICH WAS SOLD IN JUNE, 2014. THE ORGANIZATION IS NOW COMMITTED TO SUPPORTING LOW INCOME HOUSING FOR THE ELDERLY.

AS STATED ABOVE, THE HINKLE FOUNDATION HAS INVESTED THE PROCEEDS OF THE SALE OF ITS HUD APARTMENT COMPLEX IN A DIVERSIFIED PORTFOLIO OF PUBLICLY TRADED SECURITIES. THE FOUNDATION HAS MADE A $3,600,000 LOAN (AT BELOW MARKET INTEREST) TO A PROVIDER OF LOW INCOME SENIOR/ELDERLY HOUSING. THE FOUNDATION CONTINUES TO ACTIVELY PURSUE INVESTMENTS AND PROJECTS WHICH WILL PROVIDE AND/OR SUPPORT LOW INCOME SENIOR HOUSING. FOR ITS YEAR ENDED 9/30/2018, THE FOUNDATION HAS RECEIVED $170,700 IN PAYMENTS ON ITS LOAN TO THE ABOVE-MENTIONED PROVIDER OF LOW INCOME SENIOR/ELDERLY HOUSING.
