The Jonathan Art Foundations responsibilities include the preservation, maintenance, repair, lighting, framing and reframing of the art collections owned by the Jonathan Art Foundation and the Jonathan Club. The Jonathan Art Foundation's mission is to collect and display significant historical art of California, to educate the public on this art and to maintain and enhance the presentation of the separate art collection owned by the Jonathan Club.
The Jonathan Art Foundation (JAF) hosted eleven docent tours at its primary venue in Downtown Los Angeles (including artist and museum groups). Thirty JAF books were donated to institutions and docent tour guests at the facility.Art from the JAF collection has been on public exhibition in 2019 at the California Court of Appeals in Riverside, CA and National Atomic Testing Museum in Las Vegas, NV.
