THE LA PROMISE FUND IS AN UNIQUE HYBRID, OPERATING SCHOOL BASED PROGRAMS(GO TO COLLEGE, PROMISE PARENTS, 7 TO 7 AND HEALTH WELLNESS) IN PARTNERSHIP WITH LOS ANGELES UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT AT TWO TRADITIONAL, COMPREHENSIVE HIGH SCHOOLS AND A MIDDLE SCHOOL, AS WELL AS OPERATING TWO CHARTER SCHOOLS IN SOUTH LA. FURTHER AMPLIFYING ITS IMPACT, THE LA PROMISE FUND RUNS HIGH PROFILE, FAR REACHING PROGRAMS AND ENGAGEMENT OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE TO STUDENTS AND TEACHERS ACROSS LOS ANGELES COUNTY. THIS STRUCTURE ALLOWS FOR BOTH HIGH TOUCH, INTENSIVE SUPPORTS ON SCHOOL SITES, INSIDE AND OUTSIDE OF THE TRADITIONAL DISTRICT SYSTEM, WHILE SERVING STUDENTS THROUGH HIGH PROFILE, INNOVATIVE COUNTY WIDE PROGRAMS (THE INTERN PROJECT, #ARTSMATTER, HEALTH & WELLNESS/SCHOOL FUEL AND GIRLS BUILD LA) THAT ARE AVAILABLE TO STUDENTS COUTYWIDE.
LA PROMISE CHARTER SCHOOLS-THE LA PROMISE FUND IS BUILDING SMALL LEARNING COMMUNITIES, WHERE IT CAN IMPLEMENT INNOVATIVE EDUCATIONAL APPROACHES. THE TWO SCHOOLS ARE LA PROMISE CHARTER MIDDLE SCHOOL AND LA PROMISE CHARTER HIGH SCHOOL.
