Organizations Filed Purposes:
Health Coverage Outreach and Enrollment. Through this program, MCHA provides one-on-one education and assistance to low income people seeking quality health coverage and access to services. MCHA educates people about health coverage options, helps them enroll in or renew their coverage, and works to ensure they are able to use it with clinics, doctors, hospitals, pharmacies and other access points. The greatest need, however, is troubleshooting, or fixing the health coverage when its not working, when clients must switch health programs, or when have trouble getting the health care they need. We use this knowledge to engage in broader advocacy to improve health delivery systems.
