Organizations Filed Purposes:
To promote the general welfare and economic development of low income persons residing at mission plaza and the surrounding community. The mission of MPTA is to empower and improve the quality of life of the low income families residing at mission plaza and the surrounding community by: 1) ensuring mission plaza is operated and maintained as decent, safe and affordable housing for low income families, 2) serving as the managing general partner of the limited partnership that owns mission plaza and to fulfill all the responsibilities as managing general partner of the limited partnership.
To promote the general welfare and economic development of low and very low income persons or groups residing at the mission plaza apts; to hold meetings of the tenants to discuss ideas and suggestions and develop and implement plans which serve the goal of making and keeping the mission plaza apts safe, decent and affordable for low income tenants.
Mission Plaza operated a 132-unit apartment complex to provide housing to low income residents subsidized by U.S. Dept of HUD and subject to HUD Regulations (the Project). In March 2012, the organization sold the Project to Mission Plaza Family Apartments, LP.
