NPF BREAKS BARRIERS IN THE FILM INDUSTRY BY DISRUPTING ESTABLISHED AVENUES TOWARDS FILM PRODUCTION AND FOSTERING DIVERSITY BEHIND THE CAMERA. IN 2019 NPF HELD ITS 4TH ANNUAL FILM INSTITUTE ON THE CAMPUS OF WILEY COLLEGE THAT RESULTED IN 40 NEW STORYTELLERS TO THE FOUNDATION. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED YEAR 2 OF ITS HBCU STROYTELLERS PROGRAM.
