Organizations Filed Purposes: Our mission is to provide children and families with love, education, and family based treatment services.

Nuevo Amanecer Latino (Nuevo) Children Services mission is to provide our children and families with love, education and family based concurrent planning services. Nuevo is a licensed foster/adoption agency. Nuevo is currently providing mental health services for the county of San Bernardino; Nuevo also works directly with the Office of Refugee and Resettlement (ORR) under a federal grant proving services to Unaccompanied Alien Children.

Nuevo is a foster and adoption non profit corporation established in 1994. We are dedicated to serve children in need that are victims of abuse, neglect, and abandonment. Our service population is 0-17 years of age and 18-21 for those who qualify as non minor dependents. We specialize in providing foster care with professional services and support services to children in need of a temporary home. For those children whose needs are more of a permanent family, our adoption services are available. Children and youth who are in need of specialty mental health services are provided services through our mental health team.During the last calendar year we provided services to 1,097 children and youth from Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino counties. We feel honored to have served more than 17,333 children and youth during our 26 years of service.

Nuevo provides services to unaccompanied children who are referred by the Office of Refugee Resettlement, providing care and supervision and facilitating a safe and timely release to an identified sponsor who are in need of a temporary shelter.
