PWC was established on the idea that all people and communities have rights to a health dignified quailty of life

A program aimed at improving conditions in the private home health care industry for both workers and consumers through education leadership development advocacy and the development of alternative cooperative models to which PWC can address the needs of caregivers in many different levels. This includes developing and providing trainings and tools for caregivers on occupational health and safety. Through case management, PWC helps the individual issues of wage theft or discrimination. At the same time, PWC educates decision-makers and the public about the issues of domestic workers with special focus on on Filipino home care workers.

PWC provides education to the Filipino-American community about many different issues that the community might be facing with their phone companies, both cellular and land line. PWC, is able to do the same thing but for individuals with gas, water and/or electric service from private companies. PWC is able to see if the individual qualifies for low-income programs as well as get them signed up with a result of monthly and annual savings. PWC has been trained and empowered to identify possible overcharges or other problems with an individuals bill and then to call the company directly to dispute and advocate.

Health HiFi - a program designed to create a healthier community in an and around the historic Filipino town community through education, food pantry, direct services leadership development, cooperative projects and grassroots efforts. The program addresses many issues of health affecting the multi-ethnic Historic Filipino town area and the larger Filipino-American community including issues of hunger and nutrition, occupational health and safety, access to affordable health healthcare, substance abuse and more. Labor Trafficking Victims:Over 18,000 women, men and children are are trafficked into the USA every year and Los Angeles is one of the primary destinations. PWC supports individual trafficking survivors and their families in the area.
