Sacred Fools is dedicated to creating and fostering a dynamic, empowered, diverse artistic community in Los Angeles. We develop new plays and projects that challenge traditional expectations of theatre, and strive to enlighten, entertain, and transform our audiences through our work.
"Antigone, Presented by the Girls of St. Catherine's" was a West Coast premiere that was able to run for only one weekend before the pandemic shut down our theater for the rest of 2020. The show was to be the LA Times Critics Choice the week after it opened. It was later revived in a virtual production.
"Gifted" was a World Premiere play presented in our Black Box theater from January 2020- February 2020. This well-reviewed show was our last full run before the pandemic shutdown.
