Swipe out Hunger's mission is to partner with colleges to end student hunger. Our national network of student leaders and administrators implement sustainable and innovative solutions that leverage existing resources such as dining hall swipes.

Swipe Drive/Campus Support: added new campus partners, the organization reached a record breaking 128 campuses across 39 states during the fiscal year. On each of the 128 campuses, the organization established innovative anti-hunger programs to end student hunger.
Student Leadership and Advocacy: Students from over 40 universities designed, led and attended out Student Leadership Summit. Our organization launched Student Leaders Advancing Movements (SLAM), an advocacy and student leadership training fellowship. Students at University of Minnesota and other campuses led advocacy campaigns to raise awareness about policies that support student food security.
Research and Development: Our innovative anti-hunger work outside of our Swipe Drives. This included our work strengthening food pantries, SNAP programs, community college initiatives, COVID response and our student Navigator Network which reached thousands of students impacted by the pandemic.
