Meetings are held several times a week throughout the year that are open to the general public at no charge, for the purpose of studying and discussing the teachings of Theosophy. Buildings are maintained and kept open to the public for meetings in Los Angeles and New York. Libraries are maintained and open to the public in Los Angeles and New York. Program costs incurred include salaries, building maintenance and repair, utilities, free literature provided, advertising in local media, and guard service provided on meeting nights.
