IN 2019, WHOLE CHILD SUCCESSFULLY PIVOTED ITS PROGRAMMING TO AN ONLINE PLATFORM IN COORDINATION WITH ISNA (DEPARTMENT OF CHILD WELFARE IN EL SALVADOR). WHOLE CHILD DEVELOPED AND IMPLEMENTED A SERIES OF 7 TRAININGS FOR CAREGIVERS DURING THE COVID-19 CRISIS. IN ORDER TO DO THIS, WE HAD TO UPDATE OUR MATERIALS, METHODOLOGY AND TECHNOLOGICAL PLATFORM. NO IN-PERSON TRAININGS HAVE BEEN ALLOWED IN EL SALVADOR AND CHILDRENS CENTERS WERE CLOSED WHICH MEANT WHOLE CHILD HAD TO COMPLETELY REVISE ITS IMPLEMENTATION MODEL.WHOLE CHILD ALSO UPDATED ITS ENTIRE UNIVERSITY COURSE MATERIALS GEARED TOWARDS POLICY-MAKERS AND PRACTITIONERS IN THE FIELD OF EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT AND CHILD PROTECTION. THIS MEANT UPDATING ALL ACADEMIC RESEARCH, CREATING NEW MATERIALS/CONTENT, AND TRANSLATING IT INTO SPANISH.WHOLE CHILD ALSO WORKED VERY CLOSELY WITH DUKE UNIVERSITY TO UPDATE ITS FLAGSHIP ASSESSMENT TOOL, THE QCUALS. WHOLE CHILD AND DUKE HAVE UPDATED THE REPORTS, RECOMMENDATIONS AND WEIGHTS OF EACH QUESTION TO CREATE AN EVEN MORE REFINED AND EASY-TO-USE TOOL. THIS EFFORT HAS MADE THE TOOL EASIER TO USE.
