Organizations Filed Purposes: Founded in 1991, the Women's Reproductive Rights Assistance Project (WRRAP) assists women and girls of all ethnicities, sexual orientation, gender identities and cultural backgrounds who are financially unable to pay for safe, legal abortions or emergency contraceptives.

WRRAP's mission is to ensure that women and girls from all walks of life are afforded the equal opportunity to gain access to safe and legal abortion services in all 50 states.

WRRAP provides funds to doctors and health clinics across the nation on behalf of poor and disadvantaged people in need of abortion services and/or emergency contraceptives, on a case-by-case basis. Those clinics are members of Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA), National Abortion Federation (NAF), and/or independent health clinics.WRRAP operates on a high efficiency, predominately volunteer model, enabling WRRAP to direct close to 90% of its donated funds to help women and girls in crisis. WRRAP's funding comes solely from private sources through its own fundraising efforts.
