The Hawaii Data Collaborative is working to promote a culture of data-driven decision making in Hawaii by making data for solving our pressing challenges more accessible, relevant, and meaningful. We believe that data and evidence are essential to informing our understanding of what is happening, why it is happening, and what we should do about it. We engage in collaborations to dive deep on topics of critical importance, building data and evidence capacity where it is needed the most. We seek to ensure that, as leaders and decision makers, we know more so we can do better - using data to identify opportunities, guide decisions, and ultimately hold ourselves and others accountable for achieving better outcomes.
Hawaii Data Collaborative was formed in 2020, and received its exempt status determination on June 3rd of that year. There were no program service accomplishments in 2020.
