Organizations Filed Purposes:
To promote and support excellence in the music programs of the Los Gatos Union School Districtrict and Los Gatos High School, and to encourage our children to continue with music throughout their school years.
Support for concert ensembles Approximately 1,000 students served. This includes 8 choirs, 6 orchestras and 7 bands at 2 schools. Funds raised are used for clinicians, teachers, music, instruments, instrumental supplies, competition fees, transportation to competitions, classroom supplies, etc.
HS Marching Band Approximately 100 students served (and 70+ families). Marching band practices, presentations at home football games, and competitions. Boosters receive funds from participants that are used for expenses such as drill and music writers, instructors, uniforms & costumes, instruments and instrumental supplies, competition fees and transportation to competitions, lodging, food, etc.
HS Winter Percussion This program serves approximately 25 students in a winter competition program. The funds raised pay for instructors, costumes, competition fees, transportation to competitions, lodging & meals at competitions.
