Triage Cancer offers an educational blog at https://TriageCancer.org/blog and hosts www.CancerFinances.org, which provides education and resources on navigating finances after a cancer diagnosis. Triage Cancer also conducts trainings to help oncology health care professionals navigate their patients through these practical and legal issues, thereby improving their survivorship outcomes and quality of life.
From 2012-2020, Triage Cancer provided more than 283,000 people with cancer survivorship education through more than 890 online and in-person educational events, held in all 50 states, DC, and Guam. Additionally, each year, more than 300,000 people are reached through our educational materials, TriageCancer.org, CancerFinances.org, educational blog, and monthly e-newsletters. Triage Cancer hosts educational events in a variety of formats and locations to try to reach as many people as possible with critical information about cancer-related practical and legal issues. In 2012, Triage Cancer hosted the first In-Service Training for Oncology Health Care Professionals in New York, NY. By 2014, Triage Cancer had reached our 100,000th individual with cancer-related practical and legal information through educational events, blogs, articles, and website. In 2015, the Triage Cancer Webinar Series was launched. In 2016, the Conference Series launched. Additionally, www.CancerFinances.org was created as a toolkit for navigating finances after a cancer diagnosis. In 2017, we developed and made available the Insurance & Finance Intensive, an educational program focused on training health care professionals about insurance and financial issues facing those coping with cancer. We also launched a series of animated videos designed to teach people about various cancer survivorship issues. In 2018, we hosted our 30th Webinar and delivered our 49th In-Service Training for oncology health care professionals. In 2019, Triage Cancer reached our 50th state, delivering in-person educational programs in all 50 states, DC, & Guam. Additionally, we created our 40th Quick Guide and Checklist and delivered the 15th Insurance & Finance Intensive. In 2020, we hosted our 50th webinar, delivered our 23rd Insurance & Finance Intensive, and reached our one millionth individual with cancer-related legal and practical info through educational events, materials, and resources.
