TYuba-Sutter-Colusa United Way (YSCUW) improves lives by mobilizing resources to meet the needs of our community. The jurisdiction of YSCUW is Yuba, Sutter and Colusa counties. In 2019, there were 27 local non-profit Partner Agencies that received allocated funds from YSCUW. In addition, YSCUW distributed funds to 35 non-profit agencies.YSCUW managed charitable campaigns for over 90 local businesses, local government, school districts and State employees working in Yuba, Sutter and Colusa counties.YSCUW also serves as the chair of the local board for the Federal Emergency Food and Shelter Program which distributed over $170,000 to non-profit agencies to purchase food and for emergency shelter services. YSCUW awarded $65,000 in Community Impact Grants to local non-profits meeting the needs of children, seniors and homeless individuals in the community.YSCUW collaborates with individuals, agencies, members of the faith-based community, local schools and governments to help improve local social services and address community needs.
