Organizations Filed Purposes: TO GIVE VICTIMS AND SURVIVORS OF SLAVERY A VOICE IN THEIR LIVES, LIBERATE VICTIMS, END SLAVERY, AND EMPOWER SURVIVORS AS THEY CREATE AND SUSTAIN LIVES OF DIGNITY.

VICTIM SERVICE: THE FOUNDATION IS FUNDING A SET OF METHODS AND INITIATIVES THAT ARE DEMONSTRABLY HIGH QUALITY INVESTIGATION, INTERVENTION, MEDICAL, PSYCHOLOGICAL, LEGAL, PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL, AND VOCATIONAL SERVICES TO VICTIMS OF TRAFFICKING IN SOUTHEAST ASIA.THE PROGRAM'S CURRENT OBJECTIVES INCLUDE:-PROMOTING PRIMARY HEALTHCARE ACCESS AND TO REDUCE HIGH RISK IMPACT OF HIV/AIDS IN FEMALE POPULATION IN SEX SECTORS;-EQUITABLE ACCESS TO QUALITY RECOVERY, EDUCATION AND VOCATIONAL SKILLS TRAINING WITH SPECIAL ATTENTION TO VICTIMS OF TRAFFICKING FOR SEXUAL EXPLOITATION AND OR AT HIGH RISK OF IT;-STRENGTHEN AND IMPLEMENT NATIONAL LAWS, POLICIES AND PROGRAMS THAT PROTECT VICTIMS OF TRAFFICKING FOR SEXUAL SLAVERY AND EXPLOITATION AND ENSURE THAT THEY HAVE FULL ACCESS TO SUPPORTIVE SERVICES; PARTICULARLY IN LEGAL ASSISTANCES;-COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FOR SUSTAINABLE LIVELIHOODS AND INCOME GENERATION FOR THE FEMALE VICTIMS OF HUMAN TRAFFICKING FOR SEXUAL EXPLOITATION; AND-CONTINUED SUPPORT FOR RESCUE, REHABILITATION, AND REINTEGRATION SERVICES IN CAMBODIA, LAOS, AND VIETNAM.

SURVIVOR EMPOWERMENT: ESTABLISH A SET OF METHODS AND INITIATIVES THAT ARE DEMONSTRABLY EMPOWERING SURVIVORS TO BE EDUCATED AND HAVE THE ECONOMIC AUTONOMY REQUIRED TO SUSTAIN LIVES OF DIGNITY.VOICES FOR CHANGE: SMF HAS A PREEMINENT SUPPORT NETWORK LED BY SURVIVORS OF TRAFFICKING AND CONTINUES TO ASSIST SURVIVORS TO DEVELOP THE SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND RESOURCES TO CHANGE THEIR LIVES AND THE LIVES OF THOSE AROUND THE WORLD. EDUCATION: THE APPROPRIATE VOCATIONAL, SECONDARY, AND/OR COLLEGE PROGRAMS AND INITIATIVES ARE IN PLACE TO ALLOW ANY SMF SURVIVOR, WHO CHOOSES TO BE EDUCATED, TO BE ON THE PATH OF RECEIVING AN EDUCATION. ECONOMIC AUTONOMY: SMF OFFERS VIABLE OPPORTUNITIES FOR SURVIVORS TO BE ECONOMICALLY RESPONSIBLE, HAVE VOCATIONAL SKILLS, OWN THEIR OWN BUSINESS, OR BE EMPLOYED.

ERADICATING SLAVERY: IN IDENTIFIED AREAS OF THE WORLD, THE IDEA OF ERADICATING SLAVERY IS RECOGNIZED AND IS BEING LEGISLATED AS "AN IDEA WHOSE TIME HAS COME." THERE ARE ACTIVE AWARENESS AND POLICY CAMPAIGNS UNDERWAY TO ERADICATE SLAVERY AND THERE IS A MEASURABLE IMPACT. VIRAL CAMPAIGNS AND SOCIETIES THAT HONOR RULE OF LAW ARE UNDERSTOOD TO BE KEY FACTORS IN ERADICATING SLAVERY.THE PROGRAM'S OBJECTIVES INCLUDE:-CAMBODIA RANKED TIER 2 OR HIGHER ON THE US STATE DEPARTMENT TIP REPORT-ENACT VISIBLE VIRAL CAMPAIGNS CIRCULATING, SHOWING MEASURABLE CHANGE IN PUBLIC OPINION ON HUMAN TRAFFICKING;-ESTABLISH A REGIONAL PRESENCE WITH GOVERNMENTS IN SOUTHEAST ASIA;-ACTIVELY ENGAGE IN ANTI-TRAFFICKING EDUCATION FOR POLICE OFFICERS, JUDGES, MAGISTRATES, AND OTHER RELEVANT PARTIES; AND-ELEVATE SMF'S REPUTATION AS ONE OF THE MOST COLLABORATIVE ANTI-TRAFFICKING AGENCIES WITH PARTNERSHIPS AROUND THE WORLD
