PROVIDE AND DEVELOP BETTER BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES FOR CURRENT AND NEW BUSINESS VENTURES LOCATED IN THE CITY OF MONROVIA.
The Monrovia Chamber of Commerce sponsors business networking events and members-only networking lunches. The Monrovia Insider Magazine with community related articles is distributed on-line. The Chamber participates in economic development meetings and government legislative events and meetings. Additionally, the Monrovia Chamber of Commerce held the Mayor's Prayer Breakfast and the Annual Community Awards Banquet. The Chamber hosted ribbon-cutting events for new and re-established businesses and contacted each new business to Monrovia.
New members added to the Chamber's roll of over 770. Continued Shop Local Campaign and referred approximately 2,900 area businesses.
