Organizations Filed Purposes: Investment in the development of affordable housing for extremely-low to moderate income households, to create economic opportunities in the City of Montebello and its surrounding communities and to support social justice and environmental issues.

The property purchased Nov 13, 2017 on 5th St in Montebello was given plan approval by the City of Montebello to build 2 low-income housing units on the rear of the property. W have secured a contractor and paid to secure permits and for startup costs to begin construction. The Carob Way project has completed development, and we received our return investment of $400,000 plus interest of $26,581.The units on 6th Street and Emmitt Williams Way were in need of some major repairs and updating. We painted all exteriors of the units, repairs all the windows, and repaired or replaced exterior stairs due to termite damage and rot. We also installed two new air conditioners and a new water heater. Due to these extraordinary expenses we exceeded our budget for Maintenance and Repairs for the year.Lastly, we voted, approved, and disbursed scholarships and a grant to The Whole Child for fiscal year ended 6/30/2020.
