Organizations Filed Purposes:
Every 15 seconds a child dies from lack of clean water. We teach water deprived communities to use the rain as a sustainable water supply to stop these needless deaths. Our corporate partners pay all administrative expenses so 100% of public donation directly funds projects.
Save the Rain provides East African communities with access to clean water and food security by teaching them to harvest the rain. Our corporate partners cover all operational expenses so that 100% of public donation directly funds projects. This year, we worked in 8 villages and built 522 rainwater harvesting systems, both large and small. Organic gardens were paired with each of the rainwater tanks and designed with permaculture principles. Covid-relief efforts began in March with the distribution of soap, food, masks, and Keep Safe through Covid manual in the form of a comic book to over 10,000 people. Our new greenhouse produced enough food to keep thousands of school children from going hungry, as well as seedlings and tree saplings to support efforts in food security and reforestation.
