Organizations Filed Purposes:
To provide the best possible dance instruction, focusing primarily on ballet, to children and adults of all abilities; Provide the community with high quality ballet performances and opportunities to enjoy dance without regard to socioeconomic circumstances; promote an appreciation for the art of dance.
STUDENT TRAINING: 364 STUDENTS WERE ENROLLED IN THE YOUTH PROGRAM WHICH HELD 40 CLASSES PER WEEK. ABOUT 1200 STUDENTS HAVE ATTENDED THE 32 OPEN PROGRAM (DROP-IN) DANCE CLASSES. THIS HAD A SIGNIFICANT IMPACT ON THE HEALTH AND WELLNESS OF THE COMMUNITY. 15 YOUTH PROGRAM STUDENTS RECEIVE PARTIAL FINANCIAL AID ON AN AS-NEEDED BASIS
PERFORMANCES: PRODUCED AND PERFORMED 4 SHOWS OF THE NUTCRACKER (2026 ATTENDED) AT THE MOUNTAIN VIEW CENTER FOR PERFORMING ARTS, 2 CHILDREN'S SPRING RECITAL SHOWS OF FESTIVAL OF THE ANIMALS AND 1 SHOW OF GRADUATION GALA AT THE MENLO ATHERTON PERFORMING ARTS CENTER (562 ATTENDED); 4 "READINGS" AT LOCAL PUBLIC LIBRARIES; PERFORMED A SUMMER SHOWCASE AT THE SCHOOL.
