We strive to improve the quality of life in our community by providing relief from the pain, discomfort, stress, isolation, and financial burdens of acute and chronic illness. We serve all individuals, regardless of sex, race, color, income, national origin, age, ability by providing affordable community acupuncture and herbal services.
Napa Acupuncture Practice provided 6,511 low cost acupuncture treatments in 2019. There were 829 CVS grant subsidized treatments that were provided in the calendar year for 2019. A total of 311 of these visits were dedicated to providing the new ASP needles (the education for this treatment modality was funded by grant dollars). Our grant subsidized treatment for recovery, emotions, trauma, pain and any combination thereof. Our Medical Director, Faune, led a class about acupuncture for trauma and oncology patients at the annual People's Organization of Community Acupuncture Gathering in the fall of 2019. We provided 101 free mini acupuncture sessions to the Napa Community Earth Day Festival in April.
