Music in the Mountains Mission is to preserve and perpetuate the tradition of live classical music in our rural community. Our Vision is of a diverse community enriched through creating and experiencing live classical music in inspiring surroundings.
Music in the Mountains annually produces a series of orchestral, choral and chamber music concerts both indoors and outdoors as well as an extensive youth education program both in and outside the classroom. The concerts serve approximately 10,000 listeners. The education programs serve 6,000 students through the Youth Orchestra, Youth Chorus, Young Composers Project, Take 5 for Music Listening, Young Musicians Competition, Carnegie Hall LinkUp, Classic for Kids.
