No-kill cat shelter whose mission is dedicated to the protection and welfare of cats.
The Society operated 2 cat shelters & 2 retirement centers for the life-long care for "retired" cats. National Cat also accepts and takes in cats and kittens into its shelters. Cats needing homes are adopted out to responsible persons. The Society placed hundreds of cats in adopted families. The Society also provided spay & neuter information, alternatives for humane placement of cats, literature & info for schools, nursing homes & groups for the humane treatment of cats. The Society has assisted thousands of visitors and phone callers.
