Organizations Filed Purposes:
TO PROVIDE FOR THE COMMON WELFARE OF MEMBERS
To provide representation for the membership in matters related to conditions of their employment including but not necessarily limited to employee grievances, wages, hours, working conditions and programs designed to improve the general welfare of the members. The organization engaged in collctive bargaining activities on behalf of its members, who are the police officers assigned to all California State University campus locations from San Diego to Humboldt.
To provide legal protection for members while engaged in the performance of their duties. The organization is a member of the PORAC LDF professional insurance program, and also has another law firm on retainer, in order to have legal counsel available at all times for the benefit of members.
To support the members in their professional involvement with other members of the law enforcement community. The organization sponsored educational opportunities by sending memebers to law enforcement specific training conferences, and also assisted members in participating in athletic events limited to the law enforcement community.
