Organizations Filed Purposes: FamilyWorks mission is to provide compassionate, comprehensive, effective and affordable services that build essential life-skills and improve relationships.

Family Works offices are located in Novato and Santa Clara. We provide direct services to over 2,000 people of all income levels in 10 counties within the San Francisco Bay Area. Additionally, Family Works provides mental health services in satellite programs located at Davison Middle School in San Rafael, and Redwood High School in Larkspur, Sir Francis Drake High School in San Anselmo. The Maternmidad program operates out of the San Rafael and Novato Community Clinics. Family Works Internship Training Program Partners with several educational institutors including Dominican College in Marin and The Wright Institute in Berkley and partners with local Licensed Therapists to provide Supervision and Training to our interns. Family Works Developmental Disabilities programs partners with 4 Regional Centers which include the North Bay Regional Center (Sonoma/Napa County), the Golden Gate Regional Center (Marin/San Francisco/San Mateo County), Regional Center of the East Bay (Contra Costa/Alameda County) and the San Andreas Regional Center (Santa Clara/Santa Cruz/Monetary County). Services are provided in the homes and communities our clients live. Family Works impact extends far and wide as we continue to teach independent living skills to adults and parent support services to adults with developmental disabilities. The success of our agency is achieved through the collaborative services we provide to schools, health care clinics, wellness centers and the judicial system. 25 community partners strong, Family Works delivers cost-effective mental health outreach and disabilities services. For 40 years our agency has made a positive impact in Marin County. We take great pride in our work, especially our 2018 accomplishments:82% of our developmental disabled consumers maintained stable lives through our support services. 95% of the high school students from our Wellness Partnership improved their self-esteem, and enhanced relationships with peers and family. 90% of the middle school students we serve in our WHATs UP program increased their refusal skills, and know how to resist peer pressure to experiment with drugs and alcohol. Licensed therapists and interns provided over 2100 hours of counseling services to low-income clients and victims of crime. Our Maternidad Program helped preserve and strengthen the social-emotional well being of 100 expectant mothers and parents of children 0- 3.
