PROMOTE ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE IN NOVATO PUBLIC SCHOOLS.
FUNDS RAISED BY THE FOUNDATION ARE DISTRIBUTED TO THE NOVATO UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT (NUSD) TO SUPPORT PROGRAMS DEEMED MOST CRITICAL ON AN ANNUAL BASIS. THE FOUNDATION'S FYE 08/31/20 CONTRIBUTION TO NUSD WILL BE USED BY THE DISTRICT FOR THE 2019/2020 SCHOOL YEAR.
Enrichment Grants were provided to support a wide variety of programs and projects based upon individual applications. These grants included supplemental materials for school libraries and classrooms to support reading instruction; support for visual and performing arts visiting clinicians, supplies and musical instruments; support for after-school activities and clubs for students; equipment and professional expert support for student wellness; and technology tools for instruction.
